Our Story

Baking has always been a passion of mine. I vividly remember sitting on the counter next to the stove top “helping” my mom make No Bake Cookies. Within a few years I would make chocolate chip cookies every week after school, keeping a raw cookie dough supply for easy baking. I have had countless entries into our Del Norte County Fair with decorated cakes, cookies, breads, and just about whatever else is delicious and baked. Once Covid hit and lockdown began, baking became my calm once again. I remembered why I loved making goodies, and reminded myself that it’s something I’m not only good at, but have passion for.

I was born and raised in this community. I took my first breath at Seaside Hospital, went to Pine Grove, Redwood, Crescent Elk, Del Norte High School and graduated from Castle Rock in 2005. Both of my children have been raised here in Del Norte, and are very active in extracurriculars, which makes for a busy life. I love where we live, but we have been lacking when it comes to bakery options. I remember the days of heading into Continental Bakery early to get my hands on donut holes before they were all gone, or snagging a pesto roll as I got older. When I was pregnant with my daughter Jeana, my son Leon and I often went to Glen’s Bakery for some cherry icebox cookies and sugar cookies. Sweet treats have been a staple of my life, so we decided to build ourselves a bakery to share my goodies with you!

As we figure out our structure, I do plan on adding more options to our orders. I have hundreds of ideas floating around in my head, but its a process to put them into practice. We are taking each step in due time, and building our business slowly to ensure great product above all else.

We appreciate your support, and hope to continue supplying you with all of the good stuff for many years to come!

Thank you,
